TIMO RUMPFKEILCEO

Raised between pit walls and petrol fumes, Timo Rumpfkeil traded the steering wheel for a strategist’s headset at just 23, founding Motopark right outside the brand-new Oschersleben circuit – an instant shortcut to relentless test mileage.

Since then, he has turned the outfit into a bona-fide win factory: > 302 race victories, 38 championship titles and two Formula 3 World Cup triumphs headline the scorecard.

His formula blends first-hand racer instinct with ruthless engineering precision and a sixth sense for raw talent. The result is a training ground that rules one of Europe’s toughest single-seater arenas while setting new benchmarks for professionalism and performance.

ETIENNE SALOMÉDESIGN

Paris-born and speed-obsessed, Etienne Salomé earned his M.A. in Vehicle Design at London’s Royal College of Art before Bugatti snapped him up – tasking him with steering all future interior concepts and standing in as deputy to Design Director Achim Anscheidt.

As Head of Interior Design, he shaped the Chiron’s stripped-back cockpit philosophy and lent his sculptor’s eye to one-offs like La Voiture Noire, honing every carbon surface “until there was nothing left to improve.”

Today Salomé operates from a discreet studio courtyard in Berlin, taking on only hand-picked commissions that fuse art, engineering and motion – turning lap-time adrenaline into gallery-grade chronophotography while staying true to the machines that fuel his imagination.

ANDREAS KÖHLERENGINEERING

From dawn-patrol shakedowns to midnight data scrubs, Andreas Köhler runs Motopark’s engineering nerve centre with the calm intensity of a race-day strategist. Under his watch, a 5,000 m² headquarters packed with damper test rigs, dual dynamic simulators, 3-D printers and an in-house carbon shop turns fresh CAD into fired-up race cars at breakneck speed.Köhler leads a squad of German engineers who carry Motopark’s track record into every project – from Euroformula to Super Formula Light – owning the full loop of design, build, setup and constant development. His playbook blends ruthless efficiency with prototype-grade sophistication: shortest possible turnaround, zero wasted motion, always iterating for that final tenth.

The result? A workshop culture whose technical competence is proven in the fiercest single-seater arenas, where pit-stop strategy and high-downforce wizardry decide careers.Köhler’s mantra is simple: state-of-the-art tools, maximum effect, minimum time. Whether he’s refining aero maps, tuning push-rod kinematics or fast-tracking small-series manufacturing, the aim never changes – be the benchmark, not the follower
